HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking an RN for Cardiac Rehab PRN to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for cardiac rehab patients, with supervision as needed.

Licensure and state compliance are required. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patient education, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, with a focus on positive outcomes and

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure and credentialing as required by state regulations.
• Associate Degree in nursing or equivalent.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients per the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team.
• Supervise students as assigned by the area supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with clinical practice standards and regulations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment,planning,implementationand evaluation. The RNis responsible fordirecting all nursing care for patients based onestablishedclinical nursingpracticeand federal, state, and local regulations.The RN incorporates knowledge of patient’s age specific development and cultural values into the plan of care.The RN contributes to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care.Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
