Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN Cardiac Rehab to deliver quality patient care using the nursing process, in alignment with clinical practice and regulatory standards. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while incorporating age-specific and cultural considerations.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment,planning,implementationand evaluation. The RNis responsible fordirecting all nursing care for patients based onestablishedclinical nursingpracticeand federal, state, and local regulations.The RN incorporates knowledge of patient’s age specific development and cultural values into the plan of care.The RN contributes to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrates positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care.Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor.Employeemust have the same licensure or have completed the sametraining tosatisfy the requirements of the discipline of the student. Direct supervisionmeansthe primary caregiver is readily available to the student throughout the shift.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
