Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Rehabilitation in an outpatient setting. This role offers a day-shift schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and a full benefits package to support work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and licensed to practice in Missouri or eligible by compact state.
• Experience in cardiac, cardiovascular or telemetry nursing required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtained within a defined period.

Position Overview

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)

Department: Cardiac Rehabilitation

Schedule: Full-Time, 36 Hours per Week

Shift: Days

• Week 1: Five 8-hour shifts
• Week 2: Four 8-hour shifts

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Advocate for patient rights, privacy, and safety

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current RN license in Missouri or Compact State eligibility
• Cardiac, cardiovascular, or telemetry nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

Preferred

• ACLS certification
• Previous Cardiac Rehabilitation experience
• Strong patient education and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, reach, kneel, squat, twist, and perform routine patient-care activities
