Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift at our ORANGE CITY, FL facility. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications per orders while ensuring documentation accuracy and safety.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in ongoing professional development to improve patient outcomes and care efficiency. Requires RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective teamwork.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions.
