The most common diagnoses and/or interventions are: hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation, ventricular assist devices, CVVH, hypothermia after cardiac arrest, recovery from coronary procedures, including percutaneous aortic and mitral valve replacement, recovery from acute myocardial infarction complicated by cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, respiratory failure and/or multiple organ dysfunction/failure.SummaryAccountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.Does this position require Patient Care?YesEssential Functions-Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.-Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.-Record patients' medical information and vital signs.-Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.-Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.-Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.QualificationsEducation Associate's Degree Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
