Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Cardiac Intensive Care unit on a full-time, on-site basis. You will apply the nursing process across all age groups, coordinate care with physicians, and help maintain our unit’s mission, values, and standards.

Candidates must hold a current Georgia RN license, CPR, ACLS, and demonstrate leadership or supervisory capabilities; prior critical care experience is preferred. The department offers staff development and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
• ACLS certification required
• Previous nursing clinical experience required.
• Leadership, supervision, and/or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality patient care through the nursing process for all age groups on the unit.
• Coordinates patient care plans with physicians and other disciplines.
• Supports the unit's mission, vision, values, and standards.
• Assists manager in operating the unit within budget.
• Supervises and assists in staff development.
• Supports unit operations as assigned.
