Job summary

HCA Florida South Shore Hospital in Florida is seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse for PRN opportunities in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment and join a team that supports each other.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning pre/intra/post care, assisting physicians, maintaining patient records, and administering medications per orders.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• RN license required and active.
• Associate degree in nursing or related field.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a procedural environment. What you will do in this role:

You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Cardiac Cath patients pre, intra and post procedure.

You will assist physicians in operative procedures.

You will maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results

You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders

Qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
