Job summary

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/CVICU. The RN will work with physicians, adhere to nursing standards, and support education, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• RN Degree REQUIRED
• Virginia RN License REQUIRED
• BLS Certification within 90 days of hire
• 2 years of cardiac/critical care nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care following the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and cardiovascular team before, during, and after procedures
• Uphold standards of practice, ethics, and patient teaching during care
