Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing meeting Alabama's minimum standards.
• Two years of professional nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides family-centered healthcare using an interdisciplinary approach to deliver state-of-the-art care.
• Supervises, plans, evaluates and coordinates patient care among licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Administers medications, including controlled substances, and starts IVs.
• Performs basic life support and manages arrest situations.
• Ensures accurate medical records and adheres to infection control standards.
