Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as Charge Nurse and provide patient-centered care across units. You will supervise staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure compliance with policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities include administering medications, starting IVs, responding to emergencies, teaching patients and families, and maintaining accurate records using the hospital information system. ACLS and BCLS certifications are required at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• RN licensure in Alabama required (or compact state).
• ACLS and BCLS certification required at hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates patient care provided by licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Acts as Charge Nurse when assigned and communicates with the Nurse Manager.
• Administers medications including controlled substances and blood products.
• Performs nursing duties using the Nursing process to assess and plan care.
• Maintains accurate medical records and uses the Hospital Information System.
