Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to coordinate and deliver quality nursing care across the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while following hospital policies and maintaining professional growth.

The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 1–2 years in cardio/cardiac cath lab or ED settings. Excellent knowledge of cardiac rhythms and IV access is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Georgia RN license or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years experience in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Emergency Department setting.
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology; proficiency with IV sticks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver nursing care from birth through the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader.
