Cardiac Care and Telemetry Unit (STC2) (38-bed unit) – Temple, TX.

We’re currently seeking full-time experienced (12 Months+) Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The #1 city in the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! This 38-bed Cardiac Telemetry-monitored Nursing Unit Offers The Opportunity To Work With a Wide Variety Of Patients, Ranging From Adults To Geriatrics. The Conditions That Are Within The Scope Of Service For The Cardiac Telemetry Unit Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following

• Stable Cardiac medical conditions such as:
  • Cardiac Ablations
  • Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (Watchman)
  • Permanent Pacemaker Placement
  • Chest Pain
  • Congestive Heart Failure
  • Vascular Interventions
  • Percutaneous Cardiac Interventions
• Stable Neurological Conditions such as:
  • Stable Stroke
  • Seizure
  • Weakness
  • syncope

The Cardiac Care Unit works closely with multidisciplinary teams across social services, case management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietary services. Patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit is grounded in evidence-based best practices to ensure quality care.
