Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System in North Carolina is seeking a Staff Nurse to assist physicians in assessing patients and establishing a plan of care for those undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Two to three years of clinical experience with oncology patients is preferred, along with a strong desire to educate patients.

The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care, implement goals of the Nursing Division under the Office Manager, and help train new clinical staff in office

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (or Temporary License) or a Nurse Licensure Compact State license.
• Graduate from an NCBON approved School of Nursing and/or approved School of Nursing.

• Provide direct patient care and implement the philosophy, objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Office Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate from an NCBON approved School of Nursing and/or graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, Temporary License with the NC Board of Nursing or a Current License with a Nurse Licensure Compact State.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
