Job summary

The position involves rounds, care planning, documentation, and coordination of physician rounds, with emphasis on safety, quality improvement, and adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds throughout the campus ensuring that all nursing staff are performing tasks as scheduled.
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and adjust assignments as needed.
• Oversee CNAs and licensed nurses and coordinate care with the IDT.
• Prepare charts for physician rounds and document visits; flag concerns for signature.
• Develop and monitor resident care plans and ensure timely assessments.
• Administer medications per orders and report adverse events or errors.
