Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma & Magnet Facility, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support the Burn ICU.
Night Shift available.
Our Burn Unit in the John S. Dunn Burn Center is the only Comprehensive Burn Center in Houston and is verified by the American Burn Association. The affiliated board-certified physicians at the Burn Center, care for all types of burn injuries, inhalation injuries and various skin disorders including Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. This unit is a mixed acuity unit with the unique ability to care for floor, IMU and ICU patient populations being able to provide the entire continuum of care and see the progression of your patients.
Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience groupings (i.e. newly licensed RN [working under the supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3 to 10 and 10+).
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
