Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Burn Wound Unit. The role involves caring for burn patients in a dedicated ICU setting and collaborating with internationally renowned surgeons.

Candidates should have ADN with a plan to pursue BSN, or a BSN, plus an RN license and CPR. ICU experience is required, with opportunities for advanced burn-specific courses and career advancement.

Qualifications

  • ADN is required.
  • BSN preferred; candidates with ADN must matriculate into BSN program.
  • Current RN license is required.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Minimum 1 year ICU experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Care for burn patients in Burn ICU setting.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and burn care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in continuing education courses such as Advanced Burns Life Support.

You will get the chance to work with Internationally renowned surgeons and opportunity to take courses such as Advanced Burns Life Support and other courses.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
  • Current MD or compact/multi-state RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
  • One (1) year ICU experienced (Required)

Salary Range:

Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
