Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking Registered Nurses for the Burn ICU at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. This full-time, night-shift position offers 36 hours per week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420-bed teaching hospital, a dedicated trauma center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a renowned geriatrics center. The Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is the only adult burn center in Maryland, verified by the American Burn Association. Opened in 1968, the Center has a long history of providing high‑quality burn care to patients from Maryland and beyond. As a comprehensive Burn Center, we offer the latest research and technologies for treating burn‑related injuries from flames, chemicals, electricity, and scalds. We also provide treatment for complicated skin infections and other wounds. Our services include an inpatient Burn Unit, an Outpatient Burn Wound Clinic, and a Scar Revision Clinic.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
  • Current MD or compact/multi‑state RN – Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • CPR – Basic CPR (Required)
  • 1 year of nursing experience in Critical Care (Required)

Salary Range:

Minimum 39.64/hour – Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
