Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse for our Dearborn ambulatory clinic. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient-centered care under nursing and operational leadership within an ambulatory setting.

Required: Michigan RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), and BLS. Two years of acute care experience is typical, with specialty certifications preferred to support diverse clinic offerings.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• BLS or ARC Basic Life Support certification required.
• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or equivalent; BSN preferred; new grads may enroll in BSN program within 1 year of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory/clinic setting.
• Apply the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with patients and families to deliver patient-centered care under leadership guidance.

About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. Scope of Work

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nursing and Operational Leadership according to policies and procedures within an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree graduate (A.D.N.) or equivalent of an accredited school of nursing, required Bachelor's Degree (B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD), preferred - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years required 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience, required State of Michigan Registered Nurse license, required AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification, required Specialty certification, preferred
