Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for Bone Marrow Transplant with strong oncology/critical care background to provide direct patient care and coordinate treatment plans for stem cell transplant patients. Texas RN license or compact license is required, with BSN preferred within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• BSN within 24 months of hire into an RN position.
• Oncology nurse with Level 2 competencies or prior CCU/ICU experience preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Blood and Marrow Transplant Nurse certification preferred.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
• ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certification within 60 days of hire.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Experienced Oncology RN with Level 2 Competencies or prior Critical Care experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
• Experienced as an Oncology Certified Nurse or Blood and Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse is preferred
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provide American Heart Association required
• Effective 10/01/23, American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer
• Effective 10/01/23, ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfe
