Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an experienced RN to deliver direct patient care to oncology patients, with emphasis on blood cancer and related disorders. The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a BSN within 24 months if applicable.

The position may include a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS.
• ACLS within six months of hire or transfer.
• ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate within 60 days of hire or transfer.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written format.
• Flexibility to intervene on a moment’s notice.
• Ability to problem-solve and seek assistance from team members when necessary.
• Ability to cope with death and dying.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license

• Effective 10/01/23, American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS required within six months of hire or transfer
• Effective 10/01/23, ONS Chemotherapy biotherapy certificate course required within 60 days of hire or transfer
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
