Job summary

St. Luke’s Boise is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematologic Malignancies team at the Boise Cancer Institute.

This full-time 0.9 FTE position features a 4-day workweek of 9-hour day shifts, with no nights or weekends, and a sign-on bonus for new hires. The role blends Primary Nursing and Triage: you evaluate patients, support the APP, educate families, assist with care plans, and triage calls while partnering with a multidisciplinary team to deliver

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree and active RN license in the practice state.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or through American Heart Association/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care, evaluate patients and assist the APP with care, procedures and coordination.
• Educate patients and families about cancer treatments and management.
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and care plan development.
• Triages calls, makes accurate assessments, and supports the team during clinic and triage activities.
