Job summary

vTech Solution in Oregon is seeking a Birth Center Registered Nurse (RN) with strong labor and delivery experience to deliver specialized nursing care across obstetric, postpartum, gynecological, surgical, and medical overflow cases. You will support newborn care and breastfeeding, adhering to NRP guidelines, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Oregon RN license, at least 3 years in L&D, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications,

Qualifications

• Current Oregon State RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Recent acute care hospital experience within past 5 years preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• Strong clinical skills in postpartum, gynecological, surgical, and medical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care for labor and delivery patients with at least 3 years of experience in this specialty.
• Care for postpartum, gynecological, surgical, and medical overflow patients.
• Provide newborn care including assistance with breastfeeding and infant nutrition.
• Perform neonatal resuscitation in accordance with Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Lift and transfer patients or equipment up to 50 lbs as required.
