Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse, Rx Refill and Prior Authorization Specialist for the Behavioral Health Navigation Center.

The hybrid role combines remote work with on-site duties at Broadhead Rd, supporting medication refills and prior authorizations with compassionate patient engagement. The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Pennsylvania, a nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), and 3+ years of clinical or pharmacy experience, including leadership exposure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes incoming phone and electronic patient medication refills and prior authorization requests.
• Engages patients in a polite, prompt and compassionate manner during all interactions.
• Reviews medical records and specialty-specific refill protocols to support filling of prescription when a refill flags for review.
• Escalates medication questions or concerns to leadership as needed.
