Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with specialized diploma or degree.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care and collaboration with families in care planning.
• Demonstrates effective communication and understanding of nursing processes.
• Knowledge of pediatric/adult education techniques for patients and caregivers.
• Experience with medication administration and post-discharge planning.
• Understanding of health information documentation and compliance with charting.
• Current BLS certification required by AHA/Red Cross.
• NJ RN license required; BSN preferred for advancement.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in a behavioral health unit.
