Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for Jefferson Regional Specialty Hospital on the night shift. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

You will provide direct patient care on a 36-bed behavioral health unit within an inpatient rehab/acute setting, supervise psychiatric technicians, and collaborate with on-call providers to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Licenses: Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Previous Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Administers medications and performs clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care and communicates with the care team.
• Monitors patient condition and escalates as appropriate to care team.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and safety.
• Coordinates transfers, discharge planning and referrals.
