Job summary

Promises/The Ranch TN in Nunnelly, TN is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team in a medical detoxification and residential program setting. The RN provides direct client care, coordinates patient care with the health team, and upholds nursing standards of practice.

The role involves supervising medical orders, administering medications, ensuring timely documentation, and supporting admissions and discharges within a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in behavioral health or residential detox.
• Accredited RN program completion is required; higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fulfillment of patient medical orders and address concerns.
• Triage medical concerns and administer medications/injections as directed by physician.
• Monitor patient self-administration of medications and respond to medical emergencies.
• Record patient observations in records and communicate with the care team.
• Oversee admission/discharge processes, including pre-screening and obtaining health histories.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control practices.
• Attend training on chemical dependency as required.
