Carrollton Springs is a 78-bed behavioral health hospital serving the Carrollton, TX community. We are seeking an Assessment Specialist RN to provide clinical assessments and support across the department during the weekend night shifts (Fri–Sun, 7pm–7am).

Ideal candidates are RN graduates with state licensure, ER/psychiatric experience, and CPR/de-escalation certification within 30 days. This role emphasizes compassionate care, patient assessment, and collaboration with external review entities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing with state licensure.
• Experience in emergency department or psychiatric healthcare facility; direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• Current unencumbered RN license to practice as required by the State Board of Nursing.
