Ochsner Health System is seeking a senior project lead to drive strategic initiatives across departments. The role focuses on guiding projects from inception to close, while developing communications strategies for stakeholders and coaching organizational leaders in program management.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in healthcare operations or related fields, with PM or change management experience; a Master’s degree or CAPM/Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
This job leads strategic projects leveraging project management, change management, and process improvement core capabilities. The incumbent manages individual projects through the entire project lifecycle, ensures project progress and success, develops a communications strategy, and serves as an instructor and coach for organizational leaders through departmental training programs.
This role is classified as Light Work. The incumbent may be required to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount constantly. The position involves walking or standing to a significant degree and may require pushing and/or pulling of small arm or leg controls. Exposure to hazardous chemicals or waste is possible but limited to handling, transport, storage, and disposal under standard safety protocols.
