Job summary

Pine Acres Assisted Living is seeking an RN leader to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Nursing Services Department in our assisted living community. The role aims to ensure tenants receive high-quality care in a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing resident care, ISPs, staff supervision, and on-call clinical support, with a focus on dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa preferred.
• Active CMA in Iowa.
• Active MM in Iowa.
• Minimum 2 years in assisted living or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of state regulations and assisted living standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach and commitment to serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all resident care and wellness programming within the assisted living community.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate ISPs for residents.
• Supervise and train care staff to ensure policy and state regulation compliance.
• Perform regular assessments, documentation, and communication with physicians and family.
• Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor medication administration for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 clinical support as needed.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that supports resident dignity and quality of life.
