Job summary

Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Catskill, New York is seeking an RN Assistant Unit Manager to lead daily nursing operations, coordinate care, supervise CNAs, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role combines clinical responsibilities with leadership to maintain resident-focused care.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and up to $50,000 in support per qualified nurse, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend work, to foster work-life balance for our team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NY State license.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Ability to manage staff and coordinate daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager in managing daily operations of the nursing unit, including coordinating care, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
• Provide direct patient care, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, and performing various medical treatments
• Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care and support
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans, and to address resident needs and concerns
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care, including documenting progress notes, medication administration records, and incident reports
