Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network seeks an Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe and compassionate nursing care, while supporting resource management, budget, and regulatory standards within the unit.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Manager on staffing, evaluation, and professional development, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and standards across the care delivery system.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and organizational systems.
• Experience with performance improvement theory and application.
• Knowledge of JCAHO standards and other external healthcare evaluation/accreditation bodies.
• Understanding of organizational financial viability, cost-conscious care.
• Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI Plan initiatives in collaboration with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Provides feedback, counseling and discipline to assigned staff as appropriate.
• Provides staff with performance evaluations as defined by HR.
• Participates in leadership and staff meetings and promotes staff participation in hospital activities.
• Collaborates with Clinical Manager to ensure patient satisfaction targets are achieved and maintained.
