Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required
• RN license required
• Three to five years of supervisory experience
• Continuing education required
• Proficient in computer use and basic nursing equipment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Uphold ethics and professional conduct as per policy

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff development and education
• Rounds with doctor and nurse practitioner weekly
• Ensures competencies for STNAs
• Resolves resident, staff, and family issues
• Assists Director of Nursing as needed
• Conducts pre-admission assessments
• Audits electronic medical records daily
• Audits electronic medication program
• Oversees restorative care program
• Interviews for new hires and conducts staff interviews
• Manages admissions and referrals
• Manages schedule call-offs and staffing
• Attends QA meetings and other required meetings
• Liaises with corporate regarding EMR troubleshooting
• Performs other duties as assigned
