Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC, part of SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join as Assistant Director of Nursing/Staff Development Coordinator.

You will provide clinical and organizational leadership, supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support care planning and staff development. Flexibility and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care.
RN license and compassionate patient care.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and flexible hours.
Motivate nursing staff and support team development.

Responsibilities

Support regulatory compliance for Medicare/Medicaid and report issues.
Ensure staff orientation and ongoing in-servicing.
Maintain open communication with residents and families about care.
Promote quality nursing care and provide feedback to the Nursing Director.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure nursing staff compliance.
Update standards of practice and infection control knowledge.
Collaborate on antibiotic stewardship and infection control.
Coordinate information flow between providers, nursing, medical records, and social services; participate in discharge planning meetings.
Participate in 24/7 on-call/weekend RN coverage as needed.
