Qualifications

• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Virginia Board of Nursing licensure to practice as RN.
• 2-5 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long-term care.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, assess, and monitor patient care outcomes across all shifts.
• Ensure compliance of nursing care policies, procedures, systems and processes.
• Manage and supervise unit nursing staff.
• Reports to the Director of Nursing; supported by corporate nursing consultants.
• Typical hours are Monday through Friday day shift with some weekend and on-call duties.
