Responsibilities include supervising nursing education, conducting rounds with clinicians, ensuring STNA competencies, interviewing staff, managing admissions, and supporting quality

Qualifications

• RN certification required and state license in good standing.
• 3–5 years of supervisory nursing experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staff development and education for nursing staff.
• Makes rounds with doctor and nurse practitioner weekly.
• Ensures competencies for STNAs (catheter care, medpath, dressing changes).
• Resolves resident, staff, and family issues and complaints.
• Assists Director of Nursing as needed.
• Conducts pre-admission assessments.
• Completes daily audits of electronic medical records and follows up for accuracy.
• Oversees electronic medication program audits and restorative care.
• Interviews for new hires and conducts staff evaluations.
• Leads monthly STNA meetings and participates in quality assurance meetings.
