Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Alabama Board of Nursing approved nursing program with nurse apprentice partnership with East Alabama Health.
• Completed foundational clinical nursing semester.
• Has approval and basic competency validation of nursing skills from the nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the registered nurse in the practice of professional nursing by providing direct patient care to promote patient comfort and facilitate diagnostic and treatment procedures as outlined in the patient’s plan of care.
• Work under the direct supervision of the primary RN.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Function as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Education
