Job summary

NCH Healthcare System Inc in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Blood Bank in a full-time, 8-hour day shift. The RN will independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per standards of care and policy, providing direct patient care.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree, Florida RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of health care experience. Proficiency with Powerchart and basic computer skills are needed to support documentation and testing workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate’s Degree required.
• 1 year of experience in a health care facility or private physician office.
• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients and develops care plan using nursing process.
• Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and charting systems.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during procedures and testing.
• Communicates with patients and families about tests, procedures and care.
