Job summary

ICON Eyecare in Lone Tree, Colorado, seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to circulate in the ambulatory surgery center across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU. You will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Colorado.
• ACLS certification required or obtainable within 90 days.
• BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Pre-Op, Operating Room (Circulator), and PACU.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document accurately.
• Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Serve as circulating nurse during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patients during recovery, manage pain, and assess readiness for discharge.
• Educate patients and families regarding preoperative and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory, accreditation, and infection prevention standards.

Education

RN license in Colorado

ACLS certification

BCLS certification preferred
