Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre- and post-operative calls and communicates concerns to the team.
• Maintains competencies for the RN role in the assigned area.
• Applies aseptic technique and infection prevention across care.
• Monitors sedation and airway status per policy.
• Labels and handles surgical specimens per policy.
• Responds to emergencies per ACLS guidelines.
• Verifies surgeon preference cards and instrument availability.
• Promotes patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
