Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN for Ambulatory Radiation Oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The role involves direct patient care in an ambulatory setting within the Radiation Oncology-Cancer Institute, with daily and alternating shifts in a busy cancer care environment.

As part of Taussig Cancer Center, you will work with a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality cancer care, participating in ongoing trials and using advanced treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in state of practice.
• BLS certification via American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education within accreditation cycle.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• LPN/MA or other unlicensed clinical experience considered for internal Cleveland Clinic ambulatory transfers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Perform nursing assessments and plan patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Develop and deliver patient and family health education.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
