Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Center is seeking an RN in the Radiation Oncology department to provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, interacting with patients and families to enhance their experience and deliver exceptional care.

You will assess health status, perform telephone triage, administer medications, initiate CPR when needed, and support specialized diagnostic procedures while documenting education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status and complete nursing assessments.
• Perform telephone triage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.

Education

Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
