Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state RN licensure
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
• One year of RN experience
• CN substitution options for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers in ambulatory settings

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform teletriage and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and patient care equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and procedures as needed.
