Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Beachwood, OH is seeking an RN Ambulatory - Neuro Infusion to join the Mult Sclerosis/Mellen-Neurological Institute. The role involves IV infusion, patient education, and direct patient care in an ambulatory setting, with a 7:00am-5:30pm schedule and weekdays only.

Responsibilities include infusion monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians. Requires active RN license, BLS, ACLS within six months, and 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
• Current state RN license
• BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross, within 6 months)
• One year of recent RN/LPN experience or equivalent in ambulatory setting (or internal transfer)

Responsibilities

• Assist with IV placement and infusion therapy
• Monitor patients during infusion for safety and effectiveness
• Provide professional nursing care in ambulatory setting
• Assess health status and complete nursing assessments
• Administer medications and treatments
• Initiate CPR and emergency measures
• Notify physician or LIP of abnormal findings
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and equipment
• Develop and document health education for patients and families
• Cover other nursing roles within department
• Travel within the region to support clinics/surgeries as needed
