Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Fitchburg Clinic, primarily in an outpatient setting. You will provide hands-on patient care, perform telephone triage, and support geriatric patients within a busy primary and specialty care environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a collaborative clinic, with day shifts and no weekend or holiday work. A BSN is preferred, and RN licensure in the state is required, with CPR/BLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• 6 months of RN experience required.
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred (education)

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced clinic.
• Perform telephone triage and direct patient communication.
• Collaborate with primary and specialty care clinics (Falls, Memory, Geriatric Assessment).
• Work in a team-based clinic with a focus on geriatric patients.
• No weekends or holidays; day shifts at the Fitchburg Clinic.

• Works in a fast-paced clinic speaking directly with patients doing telephone triage, assisting patients with their complex health care needs in addition to hands on patient care in clinic.
• A clinic that is primary care and specialty care. Subspecialties include Falls Clinic, Memory Clinic, Geriatric Assessment Clinic etc.
