Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) 2 for an inpatient specialty area. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a diverse group of patients with multi-system needs in a safe, therapeutic environment.

Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to policies and protocols are essential. The RN ensures timely data gathering, accurate documentation, patient education, and continuity of care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing; Basic Life Support - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient care plans and nursing actions.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and families about the plan of care and prepares for discharge.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
