Job summary

Surry Community College seeks an Allied Health Programs Specialist to provide student-centered instructional, administrative, scheduling, clinical, and compliance support for Allied Health programs at the main campus in Dobson.

Under the Director of Allied Health, you will develop course and clinical schedules, coordinate with healthcare agencies for placements, maintain compliance records, and teach 8–12 semester hours per term, serving as a substitute when needed.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered North Carolina RN license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year work experience in long-term care.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and regulatory approval of Allied Health Programs.
• Assist with planning and development of course, laboratory, and clinical schedules.
• Teach 8–12 semester hours per semester and substitute for faculty as needed.
• Serve as liaison between the college and healthcare agencies for clinical experiences.
• Maintain accurate program records and clinical compliance documentation.
• Promote student retention and success through effective communication.
