Diversicare Sedgwick is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations in our Sedgwick, KS location. You will help interview staff, schedule, and train orientation and in-service education while upholding standards and regulations.

Ideal candidates possess an active RN license, 3+ years nursing experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• RN with current license by State Board of Nursing and at least three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing applicants, scheduling, and participate in orientation and in-service education training.
• Participate in performance reviews, enforce personnel policies, and ensure compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel.
• Assist with care planning, Continuous Quality Improvement, and infection control techniques.
