Job summary

Diversicare Sedgwick is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department. You will assist with interviewing applicants, scheduling, orientation, and in-service training while participating in performance reviews and policy enforcement.

You will help ensure regulatory documentation from physicians and nursing staff, assist with care planning, quality improvement, and infection control, bringing strong organizational and interpersonal skills to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• RN with a current license by State Board of Nursing and at least three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to coordinate with other departments, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• LTC/SNF experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in interviewing applicants and scheduling, participate in orientation and in-service education training.
• Participate in performance reviews, enforce personnel policies, and ensure regulatory documentation compliance.
• Assist with care planning, Continuous Quality Improvement, and infection control techniques.
