Job summary

Newport Healthcare is seeking registered nurses to provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and young adults in our treatment programs. You will conduct health screenings, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualified candidates have an active RN license in the state, and experience in residential nursing is a plus.

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in state of application.
Residential nursing experience preferred but not required.
Ability to make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
Compassionate, patient-first mindset to deliver high-quality care.
Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse patient backgrounds.
Capacity to multitask and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Complete client health screenings and provide direct nursing care, monitoring chronic conditions.
Evaluate medical complaints during on-site hours and relay to NP/MD.
Be part of the patients' multidisciplinary treatment teams.
Administer medications and order refills.
Follow policies and procedures (OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, regs).
