As an RN in Adolescent Psychiatry, you will interact with patients and families, deliver direct nursing care, and help implement and monitor care plans along the patient journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• External applicants: two years of recent related nursing
• Internal applicants: less than two years of experience, post-orientation/90-day probationary period considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
• Military RN experience considered

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
